ArtWalk October 6, 2011 from 5-8 pm  

            ArtWalk Longview has 17 participating spaces scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 5 - 8pm.

We have a couple of new venues participating this time:  Brother's Sandwiches, 108 E. Tyler St. and Pediatric Rehab Center, located at 501 N. Spur 63, Ste. B-3 showing Joshua Sheek. Other venues include:

• Longview Museum of Fine Arts exhibiting Kevin Box’ and Warren Cullar’s sculptures inside and out in the Judge J.T. Smith Sculpture Garden.
• TCC PHOTO | GALLERY showing New York Noir, Street Photography by Orville Robertson, Curated by Roy Flukinger.
• Zowies/DTE
• Interstate Battery
• The ARC of Gregg County Downtown Coffee Shop
• Willy G's
• Osaka
• Fleur Decor
• Decorating Etc.
• Gregg County Historical Museum 
• Johnny's Downtown Flooring exhibiting sculptor Stacy Deslatte’s work.
• Leilawood Florist showing Celi Bothwell Hester and Kelly Garretson.
• Gallery 100/Shannon's Beading Basket will have artists doing demos in several media, a representative from the Whisenhunt Center in Gladewater, jewelry artists in beads and glass and lots more, including a preview of the Longview Bonsai Society's Fall Exhibit! Stop in and meet many of our artists, including a couple of new members! Art Gallery 100 current members are: Don Auderer, Eric Benton, Ron Bigony, Michael Bishop, Javier Campuzano, Jane Cannon, Christine Chandler, Jeannie Davis, Ben Gallagher, Larry Guest, Phyllis Haase, Mec Lacewell, Tim Lee, James McLemore, Bill Plunkett, Jeff Rushing, Ken Sellers, Jan Statman, Dave Thomas, Barbara Walls and the Longview Bonsai Society.

 

ArtWalk Longview is a cooperative event among the businesses in Longview that believe in the promotion of art for the benefit of the Longview Community. ArtWalk Longview occurs four times a year. The next ArtWalk will be December 2, 2011 during Discover Downtown, Downtown Market, and Christmas at the Court House.
