Artist’s Statement:
"This exhibition of prairie landscapes and photographic assemblages alludes to what might be emerging and withdrawing within the photographic image. As the artist wanders through rural American landscapes with re-collections of inherited memories, her work explores ambiguity, while weakening traditionally held expectations of nature and history. Accordingly the work reflects upon the prairie’s open spaces and poetically formulates uncertain family narratives."
